 & COUNTRY FAIR              18/19 March 2017

The Daffodil Weekend Trust

The Daffodil Weekend Trust was set up in March 1996 to manage the funds raised by the annual Thriplow Daffodil Weekend and to administer grants to charitable bodies within the civil Parish of Thriplow and for an external charity within a 30 mile radius of Thriplow. Since 1969 over £400,000 has been awarded. In addition, some villagers also run a stall at home to raise funds for a charity of their choice (application form below).

External Charities

For those charities not within the Parish of Thriplow, it is possible to apply to be the External Charity providing the Charity is based within a 30 mile radius of Thriplow.

The external charity we are supporting in 2017 is the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

Application deadlines for the 2018 event will close at the end of September 2017 with a decision being made by the end of the year.
